Jaime Horn Memorial Softball Scholarship
Jaime Lynn Horn, the late Babe Ruth Softball National Commissioner, loved the program she directed. She believed the softball field was simply an extension of the classroom, and the lessons learned through participation of the sport could have a tremendous impact on student-athletes as they prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow. Jaime’s family, friends, and the Babe Ruth Leagues she served established the Jaime Horn Memorial Softball Scholarship to celebrate her life and provide assistance to Babe Ruth Softball participants to achieve their dreams. A $1,000 scholarship is awarded each year to a second-semester freshman collegiate student who played Babe Ruth Softball at one time. This scholarship is based neither on achievement nor need, but quality of life.
