SWING XP becomes the “Official Training Bat” of Cal Ripken Baseball, Babe Ruth Baseball and Babe Ruth Softball
Hamilton, NJ, January 5, 2017 -- BABE RUTH LEAGUE, the international youth baseball and softball organization, announced today that it has entered into a multi-year sponsorship and marketing agreement with SWING XP, the manufacturer of a unique handle weighted bat, designed to help batters improve their hitting mechanics and performance.  SWING XP will become the “Official Training Bat” of BABE RUTH LEAGUE, INC.
“Our mission is for players of all abilities to be able to participate in baseball and girls softball.” said Steven Tellefsen, President and CEO of BABE RUTH LEAGUE, INC.  “We believe that SWING XP’s bats will help our players at all levels become better hitters and as a result they will enjoy playing baseball and softball.  SWING XP is a worthy training product partner for BABE RUTH LEAGUE and we are very pleased to be able to have their training bats available to our players and coaches.”

“The acceptance of SWING XP by BABE RUTH LEAGUE as its official training bat is further validation of the virtues and benefits of our bats,” said Chris Shocklee, Chief Executive Officer for SWING XP.  “We are thrilled and honored to be a partner with BABE RUTH LEAGUE and look forward to helping players participating in BABE RUTH LEAGUE Baseball and Softball achieve their goals of being the best hitters they can be.”

SWING XP Power Series bats are used by Major League and Minor League teams and players, and amateur players and coaches, throughout the country as an integral part of their hitting training.  SWING XP training bats have been subjected to extensive biomechanical testing at the renowned American Sports Medicine Institute (“ASMI”) in Birmingham, Alabama.  ASMI conducted two series of tests on the SWING XP Training System under the direction of Dr. Glenn Fleisig, ASMI’s research director. Their studies show that the SWING XP Power Series bats give batters a longer view of the pitch because the batter’s game swing is quicker, and that there is more “sweet spot” hitting because the game swing is more compact and fluid.  Details of the research can be found at
