BRL Announces Scholarship Recipients

Babe Ruth League Scholarship Program

In 2001 Babe Ruth League, Inc. established a College Scholarship Program for players who participated in the Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball divisions. The program was created to provide assistance to individuals who plan on furthering their education beyond high school. Funds for the scholarship program were generated from our Annual Golf Outing along with donations from our good friends at K&K Insurance Group, Rawlings Sporting Goods and MBNA America. To apply for these scholarships, as well as view the details/criteria specific to each scholarship program, please click here.

The young athletes that participate in Babe Ruth League come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances. There is no question that higher education is more important than ever before to help these young people meet the challenges of a changing work force. The Babe Ruth League Alumni College Scholarship Program was established to recognize the excellent achievements of former Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball players wishing to further their education beyond high school.

Babe Ruth League received many outstanding applications and equally exceptional recommendations making the selection process very competitive. However, based on such qualities as academic excellence, personal achievement, and commitment to community, the following candidates have been selected for scholarship awards.
