Marvin Lemmon
Babe Ruth League President/CEO Steven Tellefsen said, "Marvin Lemmon has been involved with our program for over 32 years. He is a very dedicated volunteer and plays a major role in the success the organization enjoys today. It is a proud moment to have a person of his caliber inducted into the Hall of Fame."
In 1964, Marvin Lemmon formed the Hermiston Babe Ruth League and served as League President for five years. In 1969, he was elected District Commissioner and served that capacity until 1975, when he was appointed Assistant State Commissioner. In 1990, he was given additional duty as 13-Year-Old Assistant State Commissioner.
Marvin is one of the key people who have helped build the Babe Ruth Program in Oregon. He is one of the major reasons Babe Ruth Baseball is now in every community in Eastern Oregon.
Marvin has had a great impact in making the Babe Ruth Program strong in Oregon. He is a well respected businessman and loves to do all that he can for kids and baseball.
