The 2017 Babe Ruth Baseball 14 Year-Old World Series will be held in Glen Allen, Virginia in August 2017. The Glen Allen Youth Athletic Association will be hosting this prestigious event. Games will be played at Glen Allen Stadium at RF&P Park.
GA Youth Athletics has been a quality, long-standing host location for Babe Ruth as previous hosts of three World Series, five South East Regionals, four State Tournaments, and dozens of local District Tournaments.
GA Youth Athletics was established in 1965 and has been affiliated with Babe Ruth Baseball and Babe Ruth Softball organizations from the beginning, currently celebrating their 52nd year anniversary. GA Youth Athletics offers year-round programs in softball, baseball, and basketball. Nearly 3,000 youth participate annually in Glen Allen’s programs.
RF&P Park, opened in 1995, is situated on 53.5 acres & features seven ball fields, six batting cages, a football field, tennis courts, three concession stands, and four restored historic railroad cars. It is located in historic Henrico County which was established in 1634 as one of the original eight counties of Virginia. In 2011, Henrico County marked its 400th anniversary as the second permanent English settlement in the New World. Henrico’s location on the eastern seaboard places local businesses within just a few hours drive of Virginia Beach, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Washington D.C.
GA Youth Athletics is both proud and excited to host the 2017 Babe Ruth 14 Year-Old World Series. We’re confident our hard working staff of volunteers and the amenities that our region has to offer will help to make your visit to our community a truly memorable one!
